Catalyst by Nicole Fanning is a mafia romance. It’s the first book from the Heart of the Inferno series.
It’s a pretty tamed mafia romance. It has a couple of moments of suspense and underground dirty dealings but most of it is focused on the romance between Jaxon and Natalie. It’s opposites attract a kind of love with an innocent woman and a dark and dangerous Don.
Even though they belonged in different worlds their relationship came so effortlessly. His gestures were so romantic and generous and she was so fierce and understanding. By the end, it was clear they were made for each other. My favorite parts were the unexpected
reveal towards the end and the rescue.
I enjoyed reading this book and I will rate it with 4 stars.
