One minute he acts like he owns me, and the next he acts like he hates me. He’s flip-flopped on me so many times, I’ve got whiplash.
And it’s all because of one ittle-bitty lie from me. Okay, maybe it was three lies. They weren’t even really lies. More like omissions of facts.
So what if I didn’t tell him I’m a racecar driver? Does it really matter that I also didn’t tell him I entered the same stock car race as him? Or that I applied for a job as a mechanic at the garage he co-owns with his brothers?
I didn’t think I’d actually win the race. And I really didn’t think I’d get the job.
But both of those things happened. And he’s furious.
Unfortunately, it gets worse. I also might have caught the eye of his mortal enemy. It’s not like I can stop men from flirting with me. But I probably shouldn’t have encouraged it.
But I got Mac’s attention. All I have to do now is keep it.
“Tell me something, Red.” “Are you a screamer?”
“No.”
“Well, you’re about to be.”

Truck you by Aria Bliss is a hate to love small town romance.
It’s such a fun story with an instant-love between a stubborn brooding man and a feisty girl. The plot is engaging with good world-building. Even though the romance is fast-paced it doesn’t feel rushed. It has a lot of drama and going back and forth but it doesn’t affect the story in a negative way. The characters are amazing and very different. Sophia is a bright girl, a fighter with big dreams. Mac is at a point in his life where he feels lost and when love knocks on his door he backtracks due to his childhood trauma. I love how she helped him heal and move forward. It was very exciting to watch them being silly and romantic. My favorite scene was the Halloween party in the forest.
I loved this book and I highly recommend it. I will rate it with 4,5 stars.
