My opinion:
Hidden Truths by Neva Altaj is a dark romance. It’s the third book from the Perfectly Imperfect series.
Diego Rivera killed Angelina Sandoval’s father and she was forced to marry him. Her nana managed to sneak her out of the country. The truck that she was hiding was ambushed by the Bratva. Sergei Belov found her inside and took her with him. Angelina thought that
she could escape from the Bratva by telling a few lies. Sergei knew who she was and wouldn’t let her leave without finding the truth. As the days passed she felt an attraction towards Sergei and something more profound. Angelina in only a few days managed to see him for who
he truly was and not just a lunatic. Staying with him became necessary for her but could she risk his life to save hers?
This is a great dark romance. It is well-written and told from a dual pov. The plot is interesting and steamy. The characters have great chemistry in and out of the bedroom. Their interactions were playful most of the time. The parts with his episodes were quite sentimental especially when Angelina was trying to help him. I liked that in this one the male character had the issue and that the female was «saving» him. My favorite parts were Sergei bantering with Felix and the car love scene.
I loved this book and I highly recommend you to read it. I will rate it with 5 stars.
