My opinion:
Pretty When She Cries by A. Zavarelli is a young adult romance. It’s part of the Black Mountain Academy series.
It’s an interesting book that combines different romance subgenres such as sports, high school, dark bully, enemies to lovers. It’s a middle-length book but the plot seemed a bit fast-paced at times. It is solely focused on the drama among the main characters and their love/hate relationship. There are some very intense scenes and disturbing. The characters were nice and some of them were a bit relatable. Kailani was really nice with a good heart. Landon wasn’t what I expected him to be. He was super cute as well. I liked every scene they had together, the perfect teenage couple. This is from the rare stories that there are so many victims.
My favorite part was the justice at the end.
If you like teenage drama tv series then you’ll love this one. I will rate it with 3 stars.
