Review: The Psycho by Nikki J. Summers

Description:

There are three things that are certain in this life.
Death.
Taxes.
And if I want something, I will get it, no matter what it takes.

From the moment I laid eyes on Olivia Cooper, I knew…
She was mine.
She didn’t agree, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me.
She was all I thought about. She was my obsession.

So, I watched.
I studied.
I toyed with her and I played my games.
In her I’d found my perfect match, because she met every single one of my challenges with one of her own. She fought back and I loved it. All good things are worth fighting for, right?

Trouble was, she thought it was all a game, but I would never give up. I saw something in her that made me crave more.
What did she see in me?
Cruelty.
Savagery.
A street soldier with a thirst for vengeance.
I was a virus and she was immune.
Or was she?
Where I come from, they call me The Psycho.
And I’m about to show the world exactly why.

My opinion:

The Psycho by Nikki J Summers is a new adult dark romance. It’s the first book from the Soldiers of Anarchy series.

Adam Noble was the leader of Soldiers of Anarchy. He and his friends cleared the town from the filth. They lurked at night and played with their prey. All in the name of good. Then he met Olivia Cooper. That girl was his perfect match. She might be pure but she had a little darkness in her and she protected her friends just like he did. From the moment he saw her he was determined to make her his. After much stalking and persuasion, she gave him a chance. Can two broken pieces make one whole?

It’s not as dark as I thought after reading the description. It’s a stalker romance between two young adults who are in their twenties. This part is kinda sweet in a weird way. The stalking appeared to be fun and hot. Their romance was way mellow at times and a bit emotional. There was a moment of Romeo and Juliet. The part that I loved was when they played the executioners. I loved the suspense and the dark justice. The characters were amazing. He was the dark and dangerous psycho and she was a fierce and loyal girl. They were a perfect match.

All in all, it’s a great story for those who love this genre. I will rate it with 3.5 stars.
