Review: Unforeseen Love by L.S. Pullen

Description:

Sienna Morgan is no stranger to death and grief.
Becoming an embalmer might not be everyone’s chosen profession, but it’s the only place she truly feels in control. An introvert by nature, working and living above a funeral home suits her down to a T.
Until Theodore walks through the door, and she realises her arch-nemesis from Uni is about to be her new boss.

Theodore Wainwright hasn’t been back home in two years. A fact he’s not proud of. But his catastrophe of a relationship just ended. He lost his girlfriend and his best friend. And all he wants is the chance to start over again.
However, the last thing he expected when taking over the family business was to find none other than stick up her arse Sienna.

Now they’re working and living together in forced proximity during a global pandemic. Emotions are high, and it isn’t long before lines start to blur.
The question is, which one of them will break first?

My opinion:

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Unforeseen love by L.S. Pullen is a romantic comedy. It’s the first book from the » Love in Lockdown Chronicles» series.

Sienna Morgan was working in London as an embalmer. Her boss was retiring early and his nephew was going to take over. To her surprise, her new boss was her worst nightmare and arch-nemesis, Theodore Wainwright. The bad news of the day didn’t stop there,
Theo would also be her new housemate. He loved to rile her up even when they were in uni and he kept doing it. Sienna wasn’t a woman who gave up, or who kept silent when she was provoked. All those funny banters could end up in two possible ways: kill each other or
take their frustration in the bedroom. We all can guess what they chose to do…

It’s such an entertaining story. A wonderfully written romantic comedy that it’s based on the enemies-to-lovers trope. It’s solely focused on their growing romantic relationship. There were a few kinda emotional scenes that explained why the characters acted
a certain way. There were also a few mentions about the pandemic and how it affected everyone. The characters were amazing. Theo was a fun guy that acted like a kid sometimes, which was adorable. But he could be really sexy when he wanted. Sienna was
more closed off but very kind and caring. Her feisty side was my favorite. I loved their fights they were so much fun.

I fell in love with this book from the beginning and I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. I will rate it with 5 stars because it made my day!!!
