My Review for Dead of Night by Lexy Timms.
Jane Westen was in line to inherit a castle in Germany. That castle would change her life forever. But there was a problem, a distant cousin wanted that castle as well and had sent his lawyer to get it. Gabriel Ross had never lost a case in his whole career and he wasn’t going to start with this one. There was an intense attraction between him and Jane, an undeniable lust that they decided to explore. On her first night there, a murder happened that shook everyone. There was a murderer on the loose, too many suspects, and no clues. Would Jane come out safe and make her dream come true?
This one is perfect for Spooktober. It’s a mix between love/hate romance and mystery/horror. The romantic part is mostly about lust and a kind of admiration. The mystery was my favorite part of this story. The bodies kept popping up, and there was confusion on who the murderer
was and why. The revelation was a surprise, to say the least.
I enjoyed reading it a lot and I highly recommend you to give this a chance. I will rate it with 4 stars.
